the funcrunch files - Playing bass at Cafe du Nord June 26

I'm performing in yet another Blue Bear School of Music showcase. I'm playing bass this time, and my sweetie Ben is playing sax (tenor and alto!) and singing backup. My friend and bass teacher Steve Kirk is our bandleader and guitarist. We have a diverse set of rock songs from the familiar to the obscure.

Our band Gyre and Gimble hits at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26 at Café du Nord, 2174 Market St., San Francisco. Suggested donation $12-20; no one turned away for lack of funds.
