Sniffling in Colorado

I had a great time the first couple of days of our Aspen vacation, enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery and hot-tubbing outside Ziggy's brother's log cabin in Basalt. We also enjoyed some excellent vegan cuisine, although everything here seems to cost even more than in San Francisco.

Unfortunately the cold weather lowered my resistance, and I came down with a nasty cold Saturday night. I stayed in bed literally the entire day yesterday, delirious with fever, chugging Nyquil in addition to my tried-and-true vitamin C + Echinacea + raw garlic regimen. So today I'm back on my feet, though still quite sniffly.

We leave early tomorrow morning. I'm glad we got a couple good days in before the germs brought me down at least.
