Sip 'n slurp

As boyziggy and I are trying to wean ourselves off of hot chocolate and coffee drinks, respectively, we're drinking more tea nowadays. Ever since learning how to make a good cup of tea I've been reacquainting myself with the contents of our large tea drawer. Unfortunately, many of the boxes have only one or two bags left. So I decided to check out the Stash Tea catalog, since Stash makes some of my favorites.

Wow. Stash makes a gorgeous catalog and one of the best web sites I've encountered in memory. As a web master I've often been asked which web sites I like. Well, now I have an answer besides Google, Macintouch, and the old TransitInfo (not nearly as good since it's been absorbed by

Anyway, while Ziggy likes the classic Earl Grey, I prefer herbal teas, both because they're less bitter and because I can't handle much caffeine (it gives me heart palpitations). We both love dessert teas though, with a little sugar and vanilla soymilk, and Stash makes some great decaffeinated ones, like Vanilla Nut Creme and Creme Caramel.

Here's the order I just placed, thanks to some birthday money which I was instructed to spend on something "fun". (I'm still budget-minded though, so many of the teas I ordered were closeout specials.)

48 ct Paper Oregon Mint
Herbal Tea Sampler (8/10pks)
Clear Tea Chest (Empty)
120 ct Paper Wild Raspberry
50g Chocolate Peppermint
8g Vanilla Rooibos Loose Sample
50g Crepe Faire
2003-2005 B&B Guide & Coupon
8g Loose Peach Sample
50g White Chocolate Macadamia Nut
50g Chocolate Hazelnut
Bodum Personal Tea Press

I can't wait till it gets here!
