When you get back into a little more exercise, that HDL number should come up a bit. Exercise is the best way to raise HDL. Mine jumped from 34 to 42 in about 3 months from just walking moderately. If you are already walking a little (which I think you are) you might need more intensity to bring it up.
We are the same height, and 140-145 is my goal weight as well. I just hit a major milestone this morning: 199.8. WOOHOO, no more 200's!!!
