Decided to try a roundtrip on my usual route from Jackson/Hyde to the end of the Aquatic Park pier. Realized I simply could not run up the steepest part of the hill, from Bay to Chestnut. Walked those two blocks, then resumed running. A bit over 3 miles in 50 minutes, for a glacial 16.7 min/mile pace. Tired after. Revived with black tea and sweet potato/apple/banana/cinnamon breakfast. Must remember to do stretches and crunches later today.
