Feelings: Started the day sluggish, but perked up when my friend Jason invited me to go jam with him and his friend at Jason's studio space in Oakland. Had a good walk getting there, and a blast playing bass; I sang and played nearly every song I've learned, with Jason accompanying on drums and his friend listening appreciatively. They both praised my singing, and didn't mind my wrong notes. Definitely made my day.
The twice-baked potatoes were a recipe I just found while reading through the McDougall newsletter archives today (listed as "stuffed potato boats" there). Not bad, but a bit bland; Ziggy spiced his up with bacon salt (which is vegan, but has a frighteningly-long list of ingredients; I stuck to freshly-ground black pepper).
