I also read a few weeks back that one of the city council members (Kriss Worthington, who lived in the same co-op housing as me back in '93, but I digress) proposed a tax on families who owned more than one car. Being that I've always owned zero cars it sounds good to me (but again would probably never pass and be very difficult to enforce if it did).
