Run to Aquatic Park and back, 2.5 miles in 37:38. Not going to bother calculating the minutes per mile; I know it was slow, and I could have gone faster. Need to work harder to stay in that 70-80% zone. Many say that longer workouts at lower intensity are better for fat burning, but the program I'm following says it's more important to raise your metabolism so that you burn more fat all day long. Either way, it feels good to get something accomplished first thing in the morning.
