First run of summer

Feeling healthy enough to get back on track with fitness. Got a very late start today, didn't head outside till noon, arguably the worse time to run, especially on a sunny summer day. Did the Embarcadero route, 5.24 miles in 59:11 for an 11.2 min/mile pace. Didn't expect to go very fast considering the heat (peeled off my shirt halfway through) and the two-week layoff.

So I'm still on track for the half-marathon next month, I think. I'll probably do the 12-mile run I put off when I was sick on Friday this week, as Sunday is the Pride Parade.
