So I thought about making a goal of running 40 miles a week, but again, at my current pace, I think that might be too much. Forty miles a month? Too little. Then I thought of the metric system: 40 km a week = approximately 25 miles. Ahhh, there's the sweet spot.
So that will be my goal for 2010: running a minimum of 40 kilometers a week, beginning February 3. I have plenty of time to work up to that distance; despite losing weight and training for races, my exercise habits have been very erratic, and having a distance goal will give me something besides a race to motivate myself.
