I (still) hate shopping for clothes - the funcrunch files

Nov. 6th, 2009 07:28 pm I (still) hate shopping for clothes

Dear bra manufacturers:

I do not like wearing bras, but realize that they are sometimes useful or expected. On the rare occasion that I shop for one, I attempt to find a size 36B without underwires.

I do not want my breasts to be minimized, maximized, concealed, padded, pushed up, flattened, or otherwise altered. I like my breasts just the way they are, and if I may be so immodest to say so, a number of others seem to share my sentiment.

That is all.

I have yet to find a bra that's actually more comfortable than no bra. I do find sportsbras useful for sports or jogging but they're generally tight enough that I want to take them off RIGHT after.

I feel exactly the same way, on both counts. I always wear a sports bra when jogging but I take them off as soon as possible after my workout.

Bras are evil.

I've been measured for size and told that I was a different size nearly every single time. And then I try the sizes that the shopgirls say are correct, and they never effing fit right.

My breasts are so heavy that going without a bra is fairly uncomfortable, even though I like flouncing around the house showing them off in naked form. I haven't yet found a perfect compromise, save for some light sports bras which give me some back support at least. I also hate underwire and almost never buy underwire bras.

I don't mind pushing my breasts up-- cleavage is fun! Even if mine is fairly ridiculous. :)
