Happy Thanksgiving

To say this year has been challenging would be a massive understatement. boyziggy and I are determined to enjoy our annual home-cooked vegan Thanksgiving feast nonetheless.

The pumpkin pie is already in the oven. I started using a new recipe last year from the Native Foods cookbook. I can smell the fresh grated ginger throughout the apartment.

The rest of today's menu:

Fruit salad with sorbet
Tofurky roast with caramelized onion cherry relish
Garlic mashed potatoes
Stuffing
Tahini gravy
Mushroom gravy
Biscuits
Jellied cranberry sauce
Peas
Silk Nog

Soon friends will join us and we'll have food, music, and good times.
