This is my current personal mantra for the essentials of healthy living. I came up with it in its current form during last summer's retreat , but I don't think I've posted it anywhere before. Grains and greens, fruit and beans, Tubers, nuts and seeds, Exercise and sunshine Are what my body needs. Perhaps a bit silly-sounding, but rhymes are easier to remember, anyway. :-) Inspired by the principles of the McDougall Program .
