I'm still reading! I might be able to go for a run with you one of these days (today I apparently ran about 3.5 miles at about a 10-minute mile pace, maybe slightly slower), and I'm interested in upping my mileage.

That would be great! Ten minute pace is actually faster than I normally go, which is why I was surprised I managed that pace in today's race. Also, my yoga teacher should be back in town next week so I'll drop you an e-mail once I confirm that...

I'm thinking that if we go slower, maybe I could do a longer run and I won't die... Also, the course I did was completely flat and windless, if there are hills involved my pace would drop significantly.

Same here on the hills. Today's race was very flat and it was freezing out so that probably contributed to my fast time. In any case I'd be up for a run anywhere from 3-9 miles (beyond that I need to take walking breaks, which does not appeal to everyone).
