The setup was beautifully easy as it prompted me to connect my old Mac with a FireWire cable, and it automatically copied over all my user documents and system settings. I copied over my non-Apple applications manually, and then everything almost immediately worked as smoothly as if I were still using Panther.
Now I'm playing with Dashboard. I installed this LJ client widget right before I started typing this. Dashboard and Spotlight are cool enough to convince me to finally install Tiger at home, though I still need to make sure all my software is compatible.
(Now wishing this widget had a "preview" function...)
