We're home (Seattle-Vancouver trip final day)

No photos worth posting today; I'm planning on writing up a summary with links of the places we visited in the Pacific Northwest, as I didn't do my usual hyperlink-rich posts since I was blogging directly from Flickr.

We had an uneventful day, taking in a good brunch at a veggie restaurant and a bit of shopping on the Commercial Ave. strip (found a shop with lots of hats and boyziggy-esque clothes). Then a brief re-visit to Chinatown (a duo at the Chinese Cultural Center singing in Spanish while playing flute and guitar, and they were forgetting half the lyrics and laughing about it, strange) and a long walk over the Cambie St. bridge back to our B&B, as we had plenty of time to kill. Still arrived at the airport nearly three hours early; I was selected for "special inspection" but it was no big deal. Got first class upgrades unexpectedly; Ziggy had several White Russians and I mostly slept through the short flight home from Vancouver. Noisy people on BART and cable car got rerouted near home, but the shuttle bus got us within a block.

Tired now... going to Mime Troupe at Yerba Buena Gardens tomorrow, live music 1:30 show 2 p.m. Then back to work! (Lucky Ziggy has another week off...)
